One thing is for sure, when it comes to the beginning of August there’s only one place to be in Scotland and that’s at Truckfest. The demand for both competition entries, haulier showcases and industry exhibition stands rises year on year.

Whilst many in Scotland pay homage to the Edinburgh festival, if your involved in Road Haulage your at Truckfest working together with our long time media partner Transport News – Truckfest continues to be the meeting place for the industry.

2013 will see debuts for manufactures with many visitors catching up with all that is new in road haulage and logistics.

Truckfest is an integral part of the North of England and Scottish industry calendar with companies such as Pollock Scotrans, W H Malcolm, Billy Bowie and Jack Ferguson Transport all present for this annual pilgrimage. The one thing about Truckfest Scotland is that weather doesn’t dampen the spirits, 2012 saw a glorious sunny day on day one and a deluge on day two.

With regard to that experience our day visitors brought their umbrellas, raincoats and a sense of humour, but they were going to have their day at Truckfest. Whilst writing the text for this web page I must publically thank Billy Bowie and W H Malcolm for their assistance in keeping everything running in 2012.
